Our Training Philosophy

We strive to move pilots beyond basic currency to a high level of competence and proficiency. In doing this, we hope to systematically improve general aviation safety, one pilot at a time.

Initial & Recurrent Training

At Valley In Flight Training we offer initial and recurrent training for King Air C90, 100, 200/250 Series, Twin Cessna, Pilatus PC-12 Legacy, Cirrus, Piper Meridian, and other select aircraft. All flight training is completed in your aircraft, making you intimately familiar with the handling and unique characteristics of your aircraft. Additionally, our instructors will provide personalized instruction on the particular avionics package in your aircraft. Systems instruction is a combination of computer-based instruction and one-on-one instruction delivered at your aircraft.

If your insurance underwriter requires mentoring hours, Valley In Flight Training will pair you with a highly trained, professional instructor to make the transition to your new aircraft as smooth as possible.

ADVANCED TRAINING METHODS

Valley In Flight Training is proud to offer Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) style instruction for general aviation. AQP is a training method that has been heavily used in the airline industry for over 20 years and has had a profound impact on the quality of training and pilot performance. Valley In Flight Training uses a proficiency-based, personalized training and evaluation program for both ground and flight instruction.
