COURSE DESCRIPTION
The ground training is comprised of 12, one-hour modules of instruction. These 12 modules will cover the systems of the King Air. At the beginning of each module, you will be asked a few questions in order to determine your level of knowledge about the system. If are already proficient in that system, the training module will advance to a brief discussion on the current events associated with that particular system and then that module will be complete.INITIAL TRAINING
The in flight training is a 5-day training regiment that is designed to make you a proficient operator of your aircraft – training the way you fly. Prior to starting your in flight training, you will have to complete all 12 training modules. These modules take the place of the ground instruction that is traditionally completed along with your simulator training. When we meet for your in flight training, we will have a brief discussion about systems that may still be a challenge, you will demonstrate your knowledge of the systems relevant to flight, and then we will get right to the flight training.RECURRENT TRAINING
The in flight training is a 3-day training regiment that is designed to maintain your proficiency in areas that you may not have used during the last 12 months of flying your aircraft. We will use scenarios to give you an authentic learning environment – training the way you really fly. Each month, you will be given an instructional module that you must complete by the end of that month. The module will be approximately one-hour in length and will cover a variety of topics while challenging you to use your knowledge of the aircraft systems. Timely completion of these training modules will help to keep you “in the books” and will be required in order to maintain your recurrent training schedule. By completing these training modules on time, you will be demonstrating a desire to stay engaged in the on-going training that’s required to maintain proficiency and professionalism.
